Faculty/Staff Payroll Deduction

You can set up payroll deduction to automatically make your gift to the campaign. Setting it up is easy. Just complete the online form and contact Emily Brungo to set up your deductions. If you have questions, please contact Development and Annual Giving Manager, Emily Brungo at ebrungo@ndm.edu or 410-532-3179.

Matching Gifts

Double—even triple—your gift! Ask your employer—or your spouse’s—if a matching gift program is offered for employees and retirees. Your gift plus your employer’s match will count toward your gift total.

Gift matching is also a great way to gain membership in the Mary Meletia Society or boost Reunion class gifts.

Planned Gifts

Ready to explore how you can make the greatest impact with your gift? Including NDMU in your estate plans through a bequest, a donor-advised fund, a gift of a life insurance policy or other creative options can maximize benefits to you and Notre Dame.

To get started, please contact Director of Stewardship and Donor Relations Erin Sturgis DaSilva at edasilva@ndm.edu or 410-532-3198.

Appreciated Securities

When you give Notre Dame appreciated securities or mutual funds you have held more than one year, you can reduce, or even eliminate, your federal capital gains taxes on the transfer. You may also be entitled to a federal income tax charitable deduction based on the fair market value of the securities at the time of the transfer. To make a gift of securities, please contact Director of Advancement Services & Prospect Management Marisa Morris at mmorris@ndm.edu or 410-532-3170.

Retirement Account

Charitable giving through your IRA offers attractive benefits for you. If you are age 70½ or up, and are the owner of an IRA, you can support NDMU with a charitable gift that helps satisfy your required minimum distribution.

To make a gift using your IRA, contact your IRA manager today and request a distribution be made directly to Notre Dame of Maryland University. Request that your gift be identified with your name, address and intention to use it as a charitable gift.

If you have questions, please contact Director of Advancement Services & Prospect Management Marisa Morris at mmorris@ndm.edu or 410-532-3170.
